Book outline story:
Mary had never enjoyed school. The mere thought of reading made her feel ill and deeply sad. Words on the page jumbled together, never making any sense to her. One day, as she sat in her room, feeling overwhelmed, a Hummingbird appeared at her bedroom window. The tiny bird flitted back and forth catching Mary’s attention. Curious and captivated by the bird's vibrant colors, Mary opened the window. The Hummingbird entered, and to Mary’s amazement the hummingbird did something extraordinary by teaching Mary to learn to read in a very special way.
